Every year we dedicate all of our efforts towards raising money for a selected beneficiary. We carefully review applications and select a new beneficiary each year. Our goal continues to be to raise as much as we can for our beneficiary through our events. With the help of our own members and volunteers teamed with your team -- we can reach for the stars! We encourage all local children's charities who meet our requirements to apply -- we look forward to working with you!
 

Charity Requirements

• Must be Western New York children's charity or a WNY chapter of a national charity. (Child defined as 21 years and younger)

• 501(c)(3) or a NYS Charity

• Must fill out beneficiary application. Information to include what money will be spent on. If selected as a finalist, a short presentation before the GBTK membership will be required. 

• Cannot have been a previous beneficiary of GBTK

   

Charity Expectations

• Present your organization's info to members at the GBTK annual selection meeting

• Representation of your organization in some way at all GBTK events 

• Assist in volunteer recruitment, event participation and sponsorship solicitations

• Attend check presentation

• Provide a follow up report to the membership to summarize how the funds were utilized
